Responsible gaming

Online gambling is illegal in Malaysia. The apps covered on this site are run from overseas and are not licensed here, gambling sites get blocked, and bank accounts used for top-ups can be frozen. If an agent keeps your money, there is no regulator to complain to. Not playing is the only choice with no risk.

If you do play, make sure you're an adult (this site is 18+ only) and use only money you've already set aside for fun. Tables, fishing rooms and slots are built so that over time the house keeps part of every ringgit played. Short winning runs happen. A long-run profit doesn't.

Limits that actually work

  • Decide the top-up before you open the app. Write the number down. When that credit is gone, the session is over.
  • Set a time limit. An hour is plenty. A phone timer is more honest than "one more round".
  • Cash out part of any win. Ask for the withdrawal while you're ahead instead of playing the balance back down.
  • Never borrow to play, and that includes credit cards and buy-now-pay-later. Never top up from money meant for rent, bills, family or debts.
  • Don't play to fix a mood. Tired, drunk, angry or chasing a loss are the worst times to top up.

Warning signs

Chasing losses with bigger top-ups, hiding how much you play, borrowing or selling things to fund credit, feeling restless when you can't play, or arguing with family about money. If two or more sound familiar, take a break and talk to someone.

Getting help in Malaysia

A gambling problem can be treated. Start with a doctor at a government clinic (klinik kesihatan) or hospital, who can refer you to a counsellor, psychologist or psychiatrist. Befrienders Kuala Lumpur offers free, confidential emotional support around the clock: check befrienders.org.my for the current number. Talking to someone you trust, a partner, family member or friend, is a good first step too.

If you ever feel hopeless or think about harming yourself, go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital or call 999.

Blocking yourself

Ask the agent to close your game ID, delete the app, and remove any saved payees you use for top-ups from your banking and e-wallet apps. Lower your daily transfer limit in the bank app. A site blocker on your phone helps too, and you can ask someone you trust to hold its password.
